June 21, 2018  Presentation

RoboTech Vision visited the largest exhibition for automation and service robotics in Munich. The team looked at the latest innovations and technologies from leading German, Swiss, Danish, Canadian, and Japanese companies in the field of industrial and service robotics.

Innovations and trends

Automatica, an exhibition for innovations in robotics and automation, is organized in Munich every two years. The exhibition presents the world’s largest range of industrial and service robotics, assembly solutions, vision systems and components. It gives companies from all relevant industries access to innovations, knowledge, and trends of great economic importance. The team from RoboTech Vision participated in the eighth edition.

The company focuses on the development of mobile robotics, autonomous navigation algorithms and visual systems with artificial intelligence elements. Currently, RoboTech Vision is preparing its Androver II robot for a simulated NASA mission to Mars. At the exhibition, members of the company were therefore looking for innovations that would also be used on the mission. The company plans to develop the robot so that it can be controlled by voice and autonomously follow the astronaut.
